The book contained lots of facts and stories about an organization called the BUNT which aided Jews during the time of NAZI rule in Germany. The story of the BUNT was interesting in that it shows a different type of resistance than what one normally sees in fictional movies and TV shows. Their resistance was non-violent and at times barely noticeable. It could even be said that some or much of their motivation was selfish because their actions often aided their loved ones/close friends rather than Jews as a whole. Some of the stories were quite interesting while others really had zero effect on me.
The writing/book itself gets 3 out of 5 stars.
The narrator had a calm voice that worked well with this type of book. I wouldn't select this narrator for anything more lively but he was not a determinant to the listening experience. 3 out of 5 stars.
Overall, the book was an interesting listen which was well matched with the narrator. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in resistance during Nazi rule as it does provide some interesting facts/details about the time period and events. Overall 3 out of 5 stars… (altro)
