Sweet Honey in the Rock is a music ensemble, primarily a cappella, that has roots in folk and world music. It seems the album Education…101 is rooted in wisdom from Ghana and a Chinese Proverb. The music is beautiful and rhythmic, easy for babies that enjoy dancing. Education…101 also tends to be didactic, which make sense since one of their missions is to affect social change through music.
