se una mattina vi alzate storti e ce l'avete con tutti, se siete stufi di "essere buoni" e camminare nel vostro binario ecco un manualetto che vi mostra come si possa essere carogne (ma carogne carogne neh!) facendola franca ogni volta e guadagnandoci pure, spesso in denaro sonante, sempre in tonnellate di autostima.
Chi ha detto che, per pagare, il delitto debba sempre essere giudicato schifoso e alienare le simpatie del mondo?
In più due pregi aggiuntivi: è un libro da un pomeriggio e, se vi piace, ce n'è ancora...e ancora...e ancora… (altro)

Si dice che affidato a Ritchie anche Guerra e Pace avrebbe potuto essere riscritto in poche pagine.
Questo, bene o male, forse saprei farlo anch'io.
Ma la cattiveria spontanea, serena e priva di qualsiasi remora morale che rende simpatici i suoi personaggi è unica e rasserenante di fronte alle tonnellate di ipocrisia che sommergono la nostra quotidianità.
Che poi le sue canaglie riescano sempre a sorprenderci con un guizzo imprevisto e facciano tutto ciò in una manciata di righe se non è geniale ci è molto vicino.

PS. È ricca, la sposo e l'ammazzo è anche un vecchio film (1972) con Matthau nella parte del cattivo marito. Purtroppo credo che non sia mai stato edito in Italia, nel circuito privato. Ogni tanto passa in Tv. Se dopo che ve l'ho detto vi perdete il prossimo passaggio non fatevi più vedere da queste parti...

In order for a diamond to truly sparkle, all of its anatomical parts must be in proportion to one another. This includes the table, crown, girdle, pavilion, and if present, the culet. If all of these elements are in proportion, then the light will pass through the stone and hit the pavilion at a right angle, cut across the diamond, and shoot right back out of the book and into your twinkling eyes.… (altro)
