Trent Reedy, National Guard veteran and nationally acclaimed author, will introduce the second book, Burning Nation, in his trilogy that began with Divided we fall.

Author of novels such as Stealing Air and Words In The Dust, Reedy paints vivid pictures of memories of war, the world we know and love today, and worries of dystopia for audiences of all ages.

We're excited to welcome four-time novelist Trent Reedy back to Auntie's for a reading from his most recent work, If You're Reading This. Reedy, who served in the National Guard with a tour in Afghanistan, uses his experiences to help inspire his novels. His most recent, a coming of age tale about the unbreakable bonds of the father-son relationship, offers a glimpse inside the lives of those affected by war and conflict, from a perspective rarely examined in fiction.

When Michael Wilson's father was killed in the line of duty, Michael thought he'd never hear from him again. But when letters addressed to Michael begin arriving on his 16th birthday, will he discover that his father had a plan all along?
