A fun little short story with an interesting twist. Rick is a slut plain and simple. He wakes up one morning ready to rub some morning wood and finds a vagina there instead. Intent on bagging a slew of straight guys with his new equipment, Rick calls his drag queen buddy Pete to help him look more like a woman. Rick doesn't count on is landing a sweet, young guy and falling for him. I enjoyed the tongue in cheek humor that Mr Reed wove through the story. It was a fast read at only 16 pages but it brought up some thoughts of where just sex starts and where emotions begin. Fast paced with a melancholy ending, this fun short is worth checking out.… (altro)

This one was just ok. I was expecting more of a horror story. Hunter was a college graduate who was over pampered and protected by his wealthy grandmother. The one and only thing that she asked of him he refused to do. He was an idiot and deserved what he got. The sudden relationship with Michael seemed like a quick fix.

“Seaspray” by Rick R. Reed
The author's descriptive style of writing creates vivid imagery, which transports the reader to the quaint coastal town of Seaspray, Oregon. Through the eyes of protagonist Winslow, we witness the beauty of the town's beach and its surroundings, the charm of its people, and the peacefulness of life in this idyllic town.
However, while the book's descriptive nature was impressive, I found the narration style to be a letdown. The story is about someone that is escaping domestic abuse but the background noises and music in the audiobook version were distracting and often cheesy. It took away from the story and made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the characters and their experiences.
