Gertrude Burford Rawlings (1872–1939)

This book belonged to Charles Evans as he tells us in pencil inside the front cover. "In 1910 I came to live in Hereford from Swansea where I had lived for seven years. The same year (1910) Charles G.Bruntwell [indecipherable] took over the book shop of Joseph Jones at 10 Broad Street. I bought this book for one shilling". It was later presented by Charles Evans to the Pontypridd Public Library and eventually found its way into my hands via Quintos bookshop on the Charing Cross Road where I purchased it for a fiver around 2005 or 2006.
