It's really odd to me that they started adding in a roll call/character biographies in the third volume. It might be padding, but I actually like it. What's even odder to me than the late start on these is that they go over every single Autobot - and Megatron. Of course, a lot of the episodes focused on human villains such as Nanosec and The Angry Archer, so that could explain the exclusion of all other Decepticons. (The way he pretends to be an Autobot as he's a disembodied head manipulating Dr. Sumdac explains why he might be included alongside the Autobots.)

Same clumsy, and poor lettering, same adorable cells from the TV show, and same issues with some of the jokes not translating all that well due to the different mediums.

Still, it's cute if you love, and miss, the show.

This little comic by Marsha F. Griffin from IDW uses images directory from the show, Transformers Prime and put it in the comic. It's the same storyline in the beginning of the series. Megatron wants Transformers zombies, Optimus and others go stop Megatron, Megatron's plan fails and Starscream finally becomes leader and other stuff. If you wanna read this, go ahead. If no, then I suggest you watch the episodes. Yeah.

This book is a good example of science fiction because it involves imaginative characters, setting and also bridges the gap between disbelief and reality. It is a graphic novel, includes great illustrations, most of the story is told through the pictures.

The Autobots are on the job blasting meteorites out of the orbit of earth when their ship is sucked into the earth's atmosphere and crash into a lake. The Decepticon's ship hits a meteor and only Megatron survives, and falls to earth. Years later in Detriot, the humans are living and working with robots and are experimenting with nano technology. Some of the experiments go out of control, but can the Autobots save them?

Transformers volume 1 is a fun book for the young transformers lovers out there. The pictures are vivid and in the style of cartoons today. A great kick-start to young readers, Transformers is a cool read and an awesome adaption from the television cartoon.… (altro)
