A book of short jottings by an archaeologist from TV's 'Time Team' programme. They are like the sweepings from the floor or odds and ends from the artists sketchbook. Good analysis of the archaeological discoveries. Who knows if he’s right, but his suggestions are sensible and engaging. Helps that he farms the area as it gives him an insight that others might lack.… (altro)
