Moon's description of the body as "a house" is inadequate. Orthodox Christians believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead. The Body of Christ and of each Christian is considered to be a Temple. One of the Hebrew phrases describing the tabernacle in the wilderness can be translated as "Tabernacle of Encounter." The body with its windows of sensory perception plays an indispensable role in the Orthodox Christian's encounter with the Incarnate God in the liturgical worship of the Church. The five sense are anointed with Holy Chrism in order to seal them shut to sin and corruption and to open them to the reception of Divine Grace. In the New Birth of Baptism we are enabled to perceive the Kingdom of God and to enter it. The information presented in this film points us toward this New Resurrection Life in which we participate through the Holy Mysteries of Christ offered us in the Church established by Christ. Through participation in fasting, prayer, and the Holy Sacraments, we become attuned to resonate at a spiritual frequency in harmony with the Divine Life, Will, and Action of the Holy Trinity.… (altro)
