Jackson is so shy he is invisible, to his classmates, even to his own parents. He draws a boy one day who hops off the easel and causes all kinds of trouble. Spike helps Jackson overcome his shyness.Stylized illustrations that remind me of comics of the 40's and 50's.
I liked this book because it teaches children to not be rude to their parents. Also, it teaches them to watch what they wish for it might actually come true.
