Interesting but ultimately rather disjointed. The characters encountered are strong and this reads rather like a novel with a host of characters looking for a plot. Nice to come across legendary Brazilian-Israeli filmmaker David Perlov in an earlier stage of his life - en route to Israel. It's not clear whether this is fiction, biography, it's all a bit hazy.
