published on the occasion of the exhibition, MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE: THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF DESIGN, 1927-1936, organized by the Phillips Collection in Washington, DC (february-may 2003). I saw this exhibit there ... nothing replaces seeing prints large scale, as the artist intended and most desirably mounted on a well lit museum (or if you're really lucky, home) wall. this catalog is a happy compromise, an art book, beautifully printed.
