The Pony Rider Boys in Montana Or, the Mystery of… di Frank Gee Patchin
Meh. This one was OK. Just wasn't able to get into it very well. I would think that reading something mindless like this would be just what the pandemic ordered, but I guess not.
This was the beginning of the series and I didn't really like it as well as one of the others that I had read that were later on in the series. Too much exposition and too little adventure.
What fun! This was a really good story, great characters, well-written, etc. Unfortunately, it was also quite un-PC when it comes to certain things - lazy Indian comes to mind - but you have to take into consideration when it was written. I'm not sure exactly when, but probably early 1900's. A good fun book for readers of all ages.
