An entertaining autobiography of someone who largely met his ambitions, apart from playing cricket for Yorkshire, meeting and interviewing most of his boyhood heroes of music and film, two of his greatest passions. A well-written, amusing life story, although a bit strange the text always refers to men's trousers as pants, I'm sure they don't say that in Yorkshire!

Entertaining read, with a number of good anecdotes.

I loved the Parkinson TV show growing up. His guests were usually funny and the interviews were entertaining. I enjoyed the book a bit slow in parts but live isn;t always fast paced. He seemed to go from one thing to another with little planning. If you enjoyed the show you'll enjoy the book. I didn't realise he spent so much time in Australia.
