An excellent and photo filled history of the Monastery of St. Catherine, on the Sinai pennisula of Egypt. The little booklet gives a history of the region, where Moses led the 12 tribes of the Hebrews on their flight from Egypt, and here received the Ten Commandments. This also is the site of the burning bush, and other miracles. while the location of these miracles may be disputed, this is a third century monastery, and does have many attributes. One of them is a letter signed by Mohammed, who, since he was illiterate, signed it by putting ink on his right hand and putting the impression on the document.… (altro)
