130 jaar Thames Rowing Club.
Page was a pilot in the RAF who fought in the Battle of Britain until he was shot down and badly burned. He underwent restoration surgery including the new technology of skin grafts to repair his hands and face under the direction of Dr. Bruce of Dr. Watson fame. Eventually he married Bruce's daughter and after the War entered the aircraft industry which took him on adventures he relates in this book. Well written and very entertaining.
