Philosophy For Beginners di Richard Osborne
cartoon guide to philosophy in the west
A survey about Western philosophical history. It's an interesting way to learn about philosophy thru comics. I enjoy this series of books, and I get the ones I don't have since they are cheap now. I bought my first back in 1995.
The actual book I read is titled The Universe and subtitled Explained, Condensed and Exploded. It has the same author, ISBN and publication year but my book is only 144 pages. The author uses a dry wit and simple, understandable language to explain sometimes complex concepts. However he did lose me towards the end. For a quick, easy read on astronomy I would recommend it.
