There are some really lovely photos here - including some of models holding flowers and having nothing to do with the projects in the book.

The projects themselves are fairly generic and sometimes ridiculous. "Foraged flowers" and "Indoor plants" are considered projects, as are painting a store-bought umbrella and painting "pet rocks." I did like the macramé chair and concrete planters, but I've seen those elsewhere and with better instructions, to boot.

crafts and craftspaces/ blogger Beci Orpin produces beautiful photos and inspiring crafts in real life, but the selection of beginner projects included in this book were not impressive (the photography was fine). If you'd like a crafty-looking coffee table-book, fine, but if you are hoping for hands-on crafts, skip it [browse pinterest instead].
