House of Fear: An Anthology of Haunted House Stories… di Jonathan Oliver
I've noticed I'm on a DNF role this year with two whole (technically half) books I've given up on. Still not sure what the protocol is with rating DNF books, but I'm marking this as read, since it wasted five days of my life I could have spent reading something else.

Monstrous Little Voices: New Tales Shakespe… di Adrian Tchaikovsky
Monstrous Little Voices is a collection of short stories written in a Shakespearean style that utilizes characters from his plays. The stories are written in Acts like his plays and are an elaborate form of fan fiction.
Characters from A Midsummer's Night Dream, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, and others are skillfully woven into a series of stories that the final story 'On the Twelfth Night' uses to explain them all.
I especially enjoyed 'Coral Bones' and 'The Course of True Love', but all of the stories are wonderful. Shakespeare fans will enjoy this great collection.… (altro)

House of Fear: An Anthology of Haunted House Stories di Jonathan Oliver
Most of this collection is excellent; a few are decent and there are only one or two in the anthology that I didn't care for at all. The theme of the anthology is haunted houses but many of the stories use a very creative interpretation of what constitutes a haunted house.
