Bush party di Tricia Oktober
Beautifully illustrated book about anthropomorphic Australian animals who have a tea party, with prizes for the best hat and so on. I am a bit weirded out by birds wearing aprons, and I have to wonder at the wallaby wearing the (gorgeous) Sturt pea hat; is it silk or is there a scale issue here? My daughter finds it not eventful enough.

Text is very Australian, including names for Australian food items, but the pictures will probably sort it out well enough for Americans.
