This book is about a boy and his dog. The dog gets sick and the boy had to suffer.
During this book, a young boy discovers a lump on his dog and his dog is diagnosed with cancer. In result, the boy becomes his dog's caregiver. This is a way that a child can visualize and understand how cancer effects themselves, a family member, a friend, or even the family pet. This book is great for a one on one read with a teacher and a student or a parent and the child. Best if individually. Ages 3-5.

In this book the little boy ends up getting hurt and his dog champ helps takes care of him. As soon as the boy gets better champ gets sick and when they take him to the vet and find out champ has cancer. The little boy ends up taking care of champ like champ took care of him.
