Oh my gosh, I did not expect to fall into this book as hard as I did. Most relatable and loveable characters ever! Even when they are "mad" at each other it's a fun time (storming out of a shower to run across the hall to the other apartment to rescue your stolen shampoo)! The cutesy friends to lovers story was more Netflix than Hallmark, more substance, less cheesy. You could just feel the connection jump off of the page right away especially when James brought Maci home from her date. It was like a modern day, younger version of Friends and I am so here for it and want more. Loved that there were multiple pop culture references to all the best shows and movies from the characters watching Friends, mentioning the Hocus Pocus lego house and of course Halloween as Shark Boy and Lava Girl! I enjoyed Anywhere for You by Alexis Noel. It was a heartwarming friends to lovers story. Four college best friends navigate the challenges that come with senior year in college - internships, work, life, family, and love.

The book was a quick easy read. Great fall/winter vibes. Perfect for a cozy reading day. The overall story was pretty predictable but the characters were so endearing that you want to keep reading. Macy and James stole a little piece of my heart. I absolutely adore their friendship.… (altro)

I loved this book! It was a light read that I could pick up at any time to be entertained and live out my romantic life vicariously through these characters. James and Maci were such great friends and reminded me of how my husband and I started. We were friends first, and I was not attracted to my husband when we first met because the timing was just bad for both of us. But like James and Maci, we got to know each other and realized that what we were looking for was right in front of us the whole time. I would mostly recommend this book to younger readers. Ones that are asking themselves the question, “how do you know when you’ve met the one?”, because when you’re in it, it’s so hard to see clearly what’s happening, and hopefully it doesn’t become too late.
