Ship of Fools di Noe

There's a song that shares this same title by the Scorpions. This book doesn't have the same kind of theme as the song. This is played more for sexual comedy as all the creators other works are. That's why this book is worth reading.

The Convent of Hell di Noe

The convent of hell werd ergens op het net beschreven als een erotische Dracula-sage. De strip heeft bovendien een eigen wikipedia-pagina en daar springt in de derde of vierde zin de naam van een bekend schrijver, H.P. Lovecraft, naar voor. Tweemaal een webpagina diagonaal gelezen, tweemaal een verwijzing naar een literaire schrijver ... bestellen dus!

Maar Lovecraft heeft weinig met deze, licht potsierlijke, pornografische vertelling te maken, vermoed ik. En inderdaad, wanneer ik nog eens de referentie nalees blijkt de link wel erg dun te zijn: een mythe ofzo (dat ik me nog niet eens door de eerste alinea weet te worstelen, bewijst eens te meer dat fantasy niet aan mij besteed is ...). De link met Dracula vind ik niet meteen terug, maar hoeft wellicht niet meer te betekenen dan dat de wellustige nonnen letterlijk het levenssap uit de mannelijke bezoekers zuigen.

Three out of ten. CBR format. An erotic comic about a group of Italian nuns and their eventual dalliance with a well-endowed Satan. Weird.
