Gaspar Noé

An acid-fried plunge into hell from French provocateur Gaspar Noé. Bizarre camera moves, provocative themes, insane dialogue, dazzling dancing and edgy performances tumble over each other throughout the film. Much of the plot, however, makes little sense and some elements come across as being overly "arty" and pretentious. "Climax", however, is an exhilarating piece of work that is raw, intense and edgy - a film to experience as much as to watch.
