I feel a bit unfair giving this book only two stars as it's worth more -- just not in my case. I'm an adult returning student in a non-US college, and this book is primarily aimed at people finishing high school. So if you're in a situation similar to mine, this book will only be partly useful to you. Otherwise it's a solid book with good advice. Some of it may be dated, I suppose (the book was published in 1999), but the fundamentals are there.

My biggest pet peeve with this book is actually two paragraphs written on date rape. But I suppose it speaks more of our society than this particular book.… (altro)
