The Grunt (The Lonely Hearts, #3) di Latrivia S. Nelson
It was great and it ventured into a subject that I never really gave it much thought, which is the inter racial relationships and what it might mean to someone. I liked the characters and the depth of the story, just think that the author should concern herself with a more strict editing.
I would give this book 4.5 stars! I loved Brett and Courtney!!! I'm going to keep this as spoiler free as possible.....
So, this was the first book that I have read that has a military theme and I love how thorough the author was in explaining different aspects of the military without getting too wordy.
What I loved was how all of the characters were well developed. And how could you not want to devour Brett. I'm not going to give it away, but I have never been happy to see someone die, but it was well deserved!!
Courtney was an absolute sweetheart and I wish I could see the world through her eyes. If we all did, the world would be a much better place. I really enjoyed the dynamics her family brought to the story.
What I loved most about their story was the electricity and chemistry that was between Brett and Courtney!!! WOWZA! I mean, man, I had some great dreams!
What stopped me from giving this book 5 stars was I wish that everything didn't come so easily to the two of them and I wish the book was LONGER!!! I wish we could get another book about them!! Great job Ms. Nelson!!!… (altro)
