Chris Nealon

This is a strange book, filled with poems that utilize stream of consciousness and employ long lines. The tone is anxiously and sometimes bombastically oratory and/or conversational, with references to Ovid and Nicki Minaj and everything in between. Above an all an ars poetica where the poet asks pertinent questions in strange ways and does not hesitate to laugh at himself, though that laughter is slightly neurotic and verging on the edge of tears.
