- Swami Naryanananda was a prolific writer and popular teacher of Advaita Vedanta and Sanatana Dharma to many in India and Europe throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Ashrams were started in Gylling, Denmark, India, Sweden, Germany, Norway and USA to promote his teachings during this period. His works focus on the Primal Power in Man or Kundalini Shakti and how it, as well as advaita bhava, can be cultivated through meditation, yogic asanas and the practice of brahmacharya. His works are among the most adamant in their focus on brahmacharya and posit that the correct use of the Kundalini Shakti will improve physical, mental and spiritual health.
