Little Miss Little Compton is Arden Myrin's memoir of growing up in a small town with a quirky family and becoming and actor and comedian. I picked it up because I love Arden's podcast, and it was even better than I expected. Her writing is funny and warm, and I laughed out loud more than once. The more serious parts of the book also really had an impact,
Reading Little Miss Little Compton was like hearing a friend tell you their funny stories, it is a great comfort read during a stressful time.… (altro)

Little Miss Little Compton: A Memoir di Arden Myrin

I gobbled this book up! Arden Myrin shares hilarious stories about her life growing up in the 70s/80s and making her way as a comedian and actress. Her comedic voice shines in this book with quippy lines that had me laughing out loud. This is not a superficial book as she also covers hard topics such as being a woman in Hollywood, grief, and self-esteem.
