An essentially interesting plot is marred by stiff characters and meandering satellite plots. Had he focused on the tension between the Finn and the German captain and the initial mission to and from Murmansk, it may have been more interesting.

Set in Hawaii an anti-terrorist team take on all. A short but interesting read that satisfies in a similar way binge-watching CSI Miami does.

Espionage, murder, submarines and nucs! I found this a enjoyable, albeit intense read. I am not an expert on any of those things, but the story is well written and sounded authentic. The ghost of Aleppo with his chive green eyes sent shivers down my spine.

I love a good short story, especially one that soothes my reading addiction when I am pressed for time! Bravo to the author for this look at arson from all sides! 5/5
