A cute & pretty wholesome romance about a sweet but nerdy tourist falling in love with the handsome grouch who runs the diner in an Alaskan tourist town.

Utterly predictable but just right for a happy escape. First in a series about romance in this town.

The Tourist Attraction (Moose Springs, Alaska, #1)

I think part of the reason I didn't love this was that they got together too quickly for me. I tend to enjoy slow burns better than insta love and this was definitely insta love.

Which doesn't really make sense.

He hates tourists. She is a tourist. He constantly talks about hating tourists. Like, all the time. It would make sense for this to be more of a enemies to lovers story but it was not. He was pretty much sold on her the second he saw her. It just turned me off a bit as it seemed kind of unrealistic to me.

Overall, my favorite part of this story was the setting. I have been to Alaska and loved it so I can the appeal of a romance series set in a small town there but this just didn't hit the mark for me. I may continue this series one day but it isn't high on my list.… (altro)
