- George G. Morgan is president of Aha! Seminars, Inc., a Florida-based company working with library cooperatives and consortia providing continuing education to hundreds of library employees each year. He is a frequent speaker at genealogical conferences at the local, state, national, and international levels. He is an expert in Southern U.S. and English genealogical research and is past president of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors (ISFHWE), and a former director of the Florida State Genealogical Society and the Genealogical Speakers Guild (GSG).

I'll be consulting this book off and on, but I didn't want to leave it on my "currently reading" shelf forever so I've rated it. So far it's been very helpful--a good resource.
I read through this book fairly quickly - as a current user of Ancestry.com, I found that I had already figured out my much of the information here on my own. There were a few tricks that were new to me, but on the whole, the book was not all that useful for me as a somewhat experienced user. For someone new to the site, particularly someone new to online research in general, I think this guide could be helpful. It didn't go much beyond basic techniques, though.
An excellent resource for beginners and experts can find much useful knowledge from this book.

I bought it for my library's local history room but will be hesitant to recommend it to many patrons.
