Less general than the title suggests; basically a memoir of about service on the USS Langley in the Pacific during WW2. not a broad picture of the development of radar (in which my father-in-law had a role on another ship, the USS Chester).The Langley's service only lasted from Jan. 1944 to May, 1945.
