I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a short book and it is well written and full of adventure and paranormal action. This story feels like it is targeted to a younger audience however I still enjoyed the book. The ending makes me believe it could be leading to a sequel which I would love to read.

About a mystery/curse from the past and how it relates to a girl and her friends. Not a bad book. This book was written for juveniles and would be great for, I think, young girls. I don’t remember reading any books like this, so it was new to me. One thing, there is a cliffhanger to a possible sequel. Overall, the book was enjoyable and easy to read.

I can definitely tell that other books are meant to follow this one, as it ends very abruptly. However, that just made me want to read the rest of the books in the series. It was well-written and I think that it would appeal to curious children who are looking for a good mystery involving peers of their own age group.… (altro)

This is a definite improvement on an earlier book by this author. The story was captivating at times with just about the right amount of suspense for the young audience it is aimed at. There is still some work to be done by the author to hone his writing skills particularly regarding dialogue but I can see great potential. As with the last book I read, I am confused about the time period the novel is set in. Definitely pre-digital but some things don't add up for me. I am grateful to Liam for sending me a signed copy after he found out I had not received a copy of a previous book under the Early Reviewers scheme. It would be good to see a series of books with the same characters so that they could be developed more which is impossible in such a short book.… (altro)
