This one is so good. It has so much backstory and beautiful fight scenes and lots of great angst, and it's really funny. Wonderful volume.

Another great volume! Some wonderfully angsty scenes with Noe and Vanitas, more background on Astolfo, great scenes with Johann and Dante, great fights... Overall a beautiful volume.

An interesting start to the series. I'd give it five stars if not for the ending shonen chivalry nonsense and the way Veritas/Jeanne begins because it's still dumb. Otherwise the art is nice and the world-building is neat, and I like all the cast.

Story continues to be great, and the art is beautiful. Jean-Jacques licking Noe and then forcing Noe to drink his blood was definitely a highlight of this volume. They also include a number of scenes that weren't kept for the anime, which help explain a few minor plot holes, like what the research changed to.
