OUT OF THIS WORLD!! This book is filled with strong, powerful women, the good old boys club, intrigue, suspense, and a murder thrown in for good measure. Larkin is the owner of a multi million dollar company of which her board suddenly feels the need for her to get married? WTF?!?! Is this the Dark Ages? They definitely have the wrong woman since finding her mum dead via suicide at age 13, then her father blowing through all their money before she's grown and forcing her to work two jobs and out herself through college. Suffice to say she doesn't let ANYONE get close enough to her heart to hurt her again. If only her head of security Lucas would get the memo...or rather believe the memo. Surrounded by fellow strong, powerful and hysterical women in the business realm, a driver who feels more like a father, and a wonderful assistant. Larkin feels she can conquer just about anything. That is until the creepy cards and flower arrangements start arriving. Not to mention other crazy events that nobody else can corroborate. Is she going insane? Did she imagine it all....or is someone purposefully doing this to her? Throw in a missing person and some nefarious doings by people she knows and you've got a party! This book is so exciting!I'm immediately putting this author on my MUST read list. In reading the last few paragraphs i felt this may become a series...and it looks like I'm correct.I can't wait to read the next book. After all, she does have an awesome group of girlfriends...who knows what kind of trouble they'll all get into? Plus I still want my Larkin fix every now and then
This book had the perfect amount of suspense, romance, girlfriends, thriller, and just plain excitement. Run, don't walk to read this book...you wont regret it.… (altro)

Interesting romantic suspense Kindle Freebie. Common format with a secret group of agents working for the government, Branch, our heroine works for them and she was totally butt kicking. Hero is a childhood love who seems to have turned evil working for his father, the same father that killed heroine's parents.

Action, undercover, and fast paced. I thought towards the end one too many bedroom scenes interrupting the good action that was going on but these two probably deserved that time :)

Some editing mistakes but this looks to be self-published and, again, I downloaded as a Kindle Freebie, so I can look a little past since they weren't completely glaring and/or ruined the flow of story. I'll definitely be checking out the next in series.… (altro)

I don't think I've read this author before but I will definitely be adding her books to my TBR pile! This book took me a minute to get into it but then WOW! There was corporate intrigue, personal intrigue, family issues, romance, stalking, murder, you name it! There were also some laughs and some tender moments too. It was a very good read that will leave you wanting to know more about all of these people because they are so exciting.

Megan Mitcham’s latest novel, WHO, delivers an intensely evocative story in this first book of her new Stalker series. With intelligently crafted words and an intriguing plot that has plenty of suspenseful twists, this novel made me want to keep on turning the pages. At first, I found the book a little slow and I was worried that the story wouldn’t live up to its promise, however, the pace soon picked up and I knew I was reading a book that I would come to really enjoy.

Billionaire Larkin Ashford is the fiercely independent owner of her fashion empire which was founded on the back of wedlock. When her company has the opportunity to go public, her Board of Directors won’t give her the green light, unless she agrees to marry. A series of threatening messages aren’t making her decision any easier. As she retreats to her rooftop hideaway to clear her head, she finds herself imprisoned in the strong arms of a mysterious chap who thinks she was about to jump…

Despite her friends’ warnings that her knight in shining armour could be her stalker, she can’t get him out of her head. Determined to find the truth, she searches for her mystery man and discovers a dark secret that could destroy everything that she holds dear. With her empire in danger, she’ll have to uncover the truth before her fortune and her life are reduced to tatters.

I loved the character of Larkin who is efficient, imaginative and extremely shrewd. She has deep-rooted issues with trust from her past and she doesn’t believe in love or long-term relationships. Her mother died when she was thirteen, and she has a tense relationship with her emotionally distant father. She does have a few really close friends that are supportive and loyal. I loved that Megan Mitcham introduced us to an abundance of wonderful characters, especially Larkin’s girlfriends, Genevieve, Marlis and Libby. Their exuberance collectively provides many moments of fun, support and girlie laughter.

Larkin’s high profile life is very much lived in the limelight and with major personal and business decisions needing to be made, who is causing so much trouble for her and what will be the price she has to pay?

I had so many different scenarios playing out in my head, and even though I anticipated some of the twists, I couldn’t settle on the outcome and I was kept guessing until the end. The author definitely did not disappoint with the conclusion of this book!

If you love dramatic plots, intrigue and enjoy crime novels with a bit of romance, then Megan Mitcham delivers with abundance in WHO.
