This book was an enjoyable story and can be read as a standalone book although after reading Burl & Lucy's story I have added the prequel His Human Runaway about Thorn & Mica to my TBR as well as the next book His Human Rebel about Rake and Stella. I enjoyed reading about all the characters introduced in this story and Lucy's cats were fun to read about as well, particularly how well Burl acted with them. I look forward to continuing to read about Flagstone Fire Ranch in the future.

I have never read any of Ms. Mills' books before I saw a preview of His Human Nanny. Boy, was I missing something. There are a lot of human/alien books available out there, but very few have a down to earth feel. Riley and Aegir both have things thrust upon them that they just have to suck it up and make the best of it. They manage to move through their issues, not perfectly, but splendidly. You come away with the feeling that these are good people (aliens), even if they are physically something from a 'hew man' nightmare. This is a sweet story, focusing on Aegir and Riley discovering each other and learning about themselves. Good characters, humor and a happily ever after. What more could you want? Oh yeah - Bergelmir's story.

This is a quick and easy read with no pretensions to being great literature: the author describes her books as "filthy romance". Our curvy girl is bound by a disadvantageous contract to take on jobs for an agency, mostly she has been employed by aliens of various species to take care of their elderly relatives. Her latest job sends her to a planet inhabited by aliens with red skin, horns and a barbed tail. Her employer soon lusts after her, but initially there are legal complications to his pursuing a serious relationship. The "filthy romance" parts of the story involve descriptions in unambiguous language of the sexual fantasies and eventually sexual activities of the monster and his curvy gurl.… (altro)
