Reagan Miller

This book’s purpose was to inform the reader about the story behind Valentine’s Day, and explain the traditions we celebrate. Personally, I enjoyed this book. Each page was filled with new information, some I had never even heard before. Unlike reading a boring textbook, this book kept every page interesting. Each page was filled with colorful pictures, creative captions explaining each picture, and fun “Did You Know?” sections to keep the reader interested. At the end, there was even a glossary, and an index to prevent any confusion. The author took on a role of authority that would lead any reader to believe that this information is factual. Not only did the author present facts about the holiday, she also included crafts to make, and ideas for new traditions. This author did a good job at turning facts into an entertaining book that any child could relate to.… (altro)
