I loved this book. Loved it. It's an excellent example of what a Harlequin Intrigue novel should be: intense, emotional, romantic, and filled with tension from the first page to the last. I instantly fell for Edward. He pulls off the wounded hero thing so well that I couldn't wait to see how he came around to Holly and accepted her as well as her love. Although I was a little disappointed with the stalker storyline (it seemed tacked on and wasn't really explained), that was a minor glitch in an otherwise flawless romance. Miller's entire BROTHERHOOD OF THE BADGE series is worth reading, as each book is better than the last.… (altro)

Thoroughly enjoyable romantic suspense story with great suspense, a touching romance, and an entertaining cast of characters. Aiden Murphy is a K-9 Officer and it seems like he’s been in love with Lexi Callahan forever. Lexi is a criminalist and she just got promoted to head up her own CSI team. These two made such a lovely couple and I loved how they were always there for each other. I also loved Aiden’s wonderful K-9 partner, Blue. The story was captivating, fast-paced, and it really held my interest.… (altro)

Pretty fast moving and readable. Another in a long line of books about the KCPD. I liked the hero and how he had been in unrequited love with another woman for years but once he saw Maggie he was over it. I wasn't as fond of Maggie because even though she was a cop, she was still a pretty weak person. The relationship moved VERY fast. I'm not sure even a week had passed and they were all in love but I forgave it because it was well written and in romantic suspense you usually don't have as much time to work with or the crime element becomes ludicrously drawn out. The crime was interesting but the over arcing serial killer story was not completed in this book so we'll need to see the next story. I have an idea of who the next couple will be but it's just that, an idea. So that's nice because I don't like heavy handed sequel bait.
