The author was the founder of Youth Alive and director of Teen Challenge.

A collection of a dozen inspiring stories from people who have pushed on through adversity to achieve - and who seem to have availed themselves of the seminars and workshops conducted by the author to do so.

The stories were interesting from a biographical point of view and certainly highlight the keys of passion, persistence and purpose. Although I enjoyed the book, there's not a lot to take out of it to apply to the reader's life - unless they are looking to others to inspire them.
