Beginners to Celtic knotwork should turn first to Iain Bain, whose method is superior for its simplicity and ability to effortlessly produce knots with uniform cord thickness.
The method Meehan presents here is unintuitive and needlessly complex, particularly when drawing simple border patterns or knots in irregular or triangular shapes. That said, his breakline method is useful for reproducing certain irregular or double-laced patterns; an artist with a thorough grounding in Bain's method should be able to put it to good use.… (altro)

A very interesting mix of letters decorated with a variety of shapes, tho missing female heads in "human" heads. Uses upper case half-uncials as the base and plays with other designs around them.

This book combines the first three of Meehan's works in his Celtic art series, , , and . I haven't detected any signiicant revisions so far, so, if you already have these books, don't bother to spend the bucks.
