First the Blade di Drayton Mayrant
A sweet story built from the single Bible reference to Pontius Pilate's wife, who believes in Christ's divinity. We see Rome and Jerusalem through her eyes, essentially an outsider because she was raised as the outcast daughter of Tiberius and granddaughter of Augustus. She marries Pilate mainly to save the life of the centurion she loves. Her tutor and her slave girl friends tell her of Jesus, and she slowly grows to understand. I love a happy ending!
