Thank you Elena May for PDF copies of your books! I read Kingdom of Ashes in one day. I didn't realize I was going to like it so much. There was so much in here. I loved the slight romance that would be forbidden if anyone knew. That really drew me in that I was yearning for more!
This short story, aimed at a teenage audience, tells the story of Michelle, a resident of Bremen, who meets a white cat in the snow while procrastinating responding to an email from a boy she met while studying abroad in Australia. The cat has some odd temperament points, but there's a touch of magical realism in the book. It's kind "You've Got Mail" with a cat in the picture. Teenage girls who enjoy love stories and magical realism will probably enjoy the story. This is an incredible, keep you on the edge of your seat, page turner of a book. Ella and Dean have both been through a lot in their youth. Their pasts are intertwined in horrible ways. But they still manage to fall in love, make each other stronger, and overcome their pasts.

A thrilling journey where readers are forced to think about themselves and their lives while they go on a fantastic journey with the protagonist. With a rich world and deep characters it’s a fun read that’s hard to put down. I would recommend this to readers of all ages.
