This thriller takes place in Hamburg. Lizzi is an older 'lady' who lives with the stolen money from her late husband in an exclusive old people's home on the Elbe. Actually, she would have wanted to enjoy the end of her life if nothing else happened.
The home manager would like to get rid of Lizzi and only accept high-society clients. Furthermore, she has a quack with the senior doctor. However, the latter is also targeting a nurse who will promptly receive notice of termination from the home manager. Lizzi receives a visit from her daughter and her dubious lover, who steals Lizzi's money. In addition, a bank director is brought to the home and shot shortly thereafter. Lizzi and the nurse begin to investigate. On the one hand, how they will get Lizzi's money back, and on the other hand, it seems that the dead bank director is not what you think. They receive support from Lizzi's daughter's dubious lover, of all people, and the crime chief retired, who at the time tried to prove that Lizzi's husband had been the robber.
