This book is about the way a town looks like through the eyes of a child. The child is in the school and when she looks outside the window she sees the children on the playground. The next thing in the town is the firehouse and all the firetrucks and firemen. The town also has a library and many other buildings.

This is a good book to see exactly how children see things that adults may overlook. Children also like books that have windows and pop up books. This book also has great pictures and a book that children would really enjoy.

This book would be good to use during a social studies lesson about communities. You could have the children draw their favorite place around town with their parents.
