They are a fiercely loyal, famously hospitable, freedom-loving people whose irrepressible will to survive and thrive is building an astonishingly prosperous oasis in the midst of the turmoil that is the Middle East.

Mansfield, who has traveled and lived among the Kurds since the 1990’s, has a great admiration and affection for them. The Search for God and Guinness: A Biography of the… di Stephen Mansfield

A history of the Guinness beer company, not only just about the Guinness family and their business, but also in the context of history and religion. It's a bit of a love letter to the company, which can get a tad tiresome, but in general it's an interesting read.

The Miracle of the Kurds: A Remarkable Story of Hope… di Stephen Mansfield

Like the cover says, a remarkable story of the Kurd people from their ascendancy to genocide at the hands of Sadam Hussein and then a re-ascent in the Middle East. Possibly the only success story to emerge from the Middle East minus the religious fundamentalism.
