Today's young Christians have bought into many conflicted messages about marriage and relationships. Reading this book will help them sort out what is Biblical and what is not. Maken makes a good case for the thesis that marriage is the norm for Christians, singleness is to be avoided, and individuals and the church need to start acting on that basis. She uses her own experience to show how a father or father figure can help a young woman find a suitable mate.

The organization of the book could be tighter; she backtracks and revisits topics too often. The editor should have fixed some of that. Still, a good treatment of an important and controversial topic.… (altro)
