I like the premise a lot but the execution just didn't work for me. The fmc is dumped and upon finding out her ex is engaged 4 months after breaking up with her, she takes to Twitter to ask if the famous hockey playing mmc (that she doesn't know) will take her to her ex's wedding. He responds positively. Although I dislike the idea of crashing an ex's wedding (you were better off so just move on) I like a meet-cute on social media with a famous person, sue me. (One of my favorite examples of this was Olivia Dade's Spoiler Alert)

I liked how the mmc was smitten immediately and didn't play around. He said he liked the fmc and he was not playing mind games about it. I actually like that in romance - saying you like someone and then do the things to show you like someone.

What I disliked was the all-at-once whorephobia, gender essentialism and sexism. Like don't talk shit about other people's genitals. Be as sexual as you want, your body your choice, but leave other people's bodies out of your mentions and what not.… (altro)

Once again, this group of siblings are faced with another wedding and the track record, they have so far is not good, so will Clarabella’s be any different? Luke and Clarabella have a history of sorts, but when their one incredible night together ends with Luke walking away, she is a woman scorned. Months later Clarabella is engaged and it’s getting closer to the big day, that’s when Luke comes back to town and things hit the fan. This series is one full of emotions, hilarious banter, loving family, and swoon worthy men. When Clarabella runs and Luke is the one to help her things heat up, but when faced with reality again can they find a new path or will Clara mess it all up? I loved this one just as much as the others in the series, but lord I wanted to smack Clara when she was willing to let her ex bash her good name and didn’t care yet Luke takes up for her and she loses it?!?! I was glad her mother called out how ridiculous she was being although a good smack wouldn’t have hurt either. It made me feel bad for Luke because it was like he could do nothing right while she wanted to keep him a dirty little secret. Also was it me or did they just stay lit on scotch all the time? Overall, another good one for me and ready to see what’s next.… (altro)
