Although the date is not given, it appears that the story is set in the 1020's, mostly in Mexico. Dale Stephens, alias Gila Shadow, enters a restaurant in Mexico to eat. He is approached by an American asking for help. The help he needs is to get him out of the restaurant without being killed. Dale provides the assistance but now he is hunted by the man's enemies. Paid $1000 for the "help" and more money if he search for the man's son in Mexico. Dale ends up in a Mexican prison under the thumb of his friend's enemy, a powerful army officer named El Gato. How Dale & his employer's son & daughter escape El Gato makes for a bang up finish.… (altro)
