Tim Lovett

Beautifully illustrated book is a fast read, but one that will be read again and again. The Bible gives very limited information on the design of the ark, but Lovett extrapolates what is there. He shows that any other dimensions to the ark would have sacrificed strength, stability, comfort, or safety. He adds other design features that aren't included in the Biblical description, but were certainly necessities (ventilation, food and water distribution, cage design). Other sections summarize Biblical and geological evidence of a worldwide, as opposed to local flood. Recommend buying the book with 1/2 hour DVD. They are companions, but despite the phrase "DVD Edition" here and on Amazon, there is no DVD included.
